Emerson has set a new benchmark for fluid control technology

The smaller size of the 256/356 series helps OEMs optimize the internal layout of their equipment, enabling more high-performance fluid control options to be integrated into smaller, more fashionable end products

this is particularly important for manufacturers of coffee machines and other beverage machines, HVAC systems, pumps and compressors, welding equipment, and analytical and medical equipment

generally, higher rated pressure of small valves will require higher power consumption. Industrial enterprises are encouraged to strengthen the manufacturing technology research of key components such as high-strength and light-weight vehicle bodies, key assemblies and their precision parts, electromechanical and electric drive systems. However, the 256/356 series can reduce power consumption by 40% at most. This allows OEMs to match or improve the fluid control performance of previous models while applying smaller valves and achieving significant energy savings

compared with the previous products, some models of the redesigned 256/356 series have increased the rated pressure by nearly 30%, which can be applied to more demanding applications, such as high-pressure cleaning equipment and hydrogen fuel cells. The performance of the DC voltage model is now similar to that of the AC voltage model, which can maximize the performance of the solenoid valve without switching to the AC power supply, thus reducing the total cost of the system

The new design has smaller volume, lower power consumption and higher rated pressure, setting a new benchmark for volume control technology with the development of sensor technology. "In addition to these performance improvements, more body materials and connection types are available. This provides OEMs with the widest range of choices from the same trusted supplier to reliably meet their diverse application needs."

256/356 series provides more valve body materials, including lead-free brass, stainless steel and engineering composite materials 20% lighter than brass, all of which meet the global health and safety standards for food and beverage applications

these valves are dust-proof, with a protection grade of IP67, and can be immersed in one meter of water. Therefore, they are suitable for harsh environments, which can improve the reliability of the equipment and prolong the service life. Providing various industry certifications from third-party organizations, such as NSF 169 and EC 1934 certification for food and beverage applications, helps OEMs shorten the time to market for new products

256/356 series has a variety of termination options and flexible electrical connection methods, which can reduce installation time by up to 40% and make service and maintenance more convenient
